Dave has undertaken a few electrical jobs for me over a number of years. More recently in my new house he has replaced lights and installed new plug sockets. He is quick to respond and good at offering suggestions. He is also very tidy. I feel I can trust him to a do a good job and keep me informed of what is needed. I would recommend him.

DJ Sorrell have helped us with both external garden lighting and internal work. Our garden lighting was shorting, and Dave found and fixed the problem quickly. We then bought a set of garden lights that needed some drilling and cementing into our stone path, and that all went well too. Later on, we had an internal short circuit inside the house. Dave quoted for supplying and fitting a new fuse box. Once work had started, he found the underlying issue was due to some very bad wiring that was done by a previous electrician. He persistently chased it, and it took hours longer than we all anticipated. In the end, he found what could have been a dangerous fire risk, and fixed it in the least disruptive way possible. When he invoiced us, he charged exactly what he had quoted, with nothing extra added on. We not only recommend him, but would call him again for any future electrical jobs.

D J Sorrell have been our "go to" for all electrical work and testing that has been required for at least ten years now. Dave is always helpful with advice, quick to attend when we have problems, and maintains all certification for us. We highly recommend them for a prompt and professional service.

We called because we needed the bulb changed for an external security light. We also asked for the time it stayed on to be changed. I also asked for a suggestion about lighting near a key safe. Dave offered us a reasonably priced solution and fitted it within a week. Can't recommend highly enough.

We recently used DJ Sorrell Ltd. We had several electrical jobs we needed to be done. We were very happy, with the quick response to visit and quote a price for the work. We received an itemised breakdown by e-mail. We were very happy with the quote, and the work was carried out, too a very high standard. Mr Sorrell is a very friendly gentleman. If we need any further electrical work done, he will be the first person we will call.
